Qualifying completed here at round 1 of the Australian Supercross Championship here in Melbourne. and so far its been the 4 of the Honda Racing Australia riders that have toped the charts. With Wilson Todd topping the charts in the SX2 Class from his new team mate and British import of Max Anstie. Todd was .3 of a second Quicker than Anstie, though anstie tried to uncork the quad before the triple, which he ultimately come up short on and never tried again for the rest of the session.
The SX1 team was again dominated by the Honda Racing Australia riders of Americans Dean Wilson and Justin Brayton. To many peoples amazement it was Wilson pipping defending Australian Supercross Champion Justin Brayton. Only .1 separating the boys who were jumping the Quad that was easy for the big 450 machines. But will it be the main line in the main event only time will tell. For now though the night show is 20mins away from kicking off and things look to be tight at the top of the charts.
